Advent Giving Program 2022
Donations Needed for Ministry of Social Concerns
Advent Giving Program
Even though it’s still fall, the Christmas holidays will be here before we know it. Below is the information for this year’s Ministry of Social Concerns (MoSC) Advent Giving Program.
This year’s program will be supporting three organizations, People’s Place, What is Your Voice? (both of which shelter and counsel abused and their families), and clients from Sussex Pregnancy Center. In addition, families in need from the St. Jude religious ed program, and residents at the Lighthouse for Broken Wings group home (supportive housing for previously homeless), have been referred to our Ministry for assistance. All will receive gift cards to purchase holiday gifts for their families.
Here’s how to contribute to the Ministry of Social Concern’s program:
- Purchase $25 Walmart, Amazon, or Wawa gift cards.
- Place the gift card(s) in an envelope and clearly mark “Ministry of Social Concerns Advent Giving Program” on the outside of the envelope.
- Put into collection basket at Mass, OR place in the secure giving box outside the church office door, OR mail to the Parish Office.
- Monetary donations can be contributed by check and collected as listed above, or made via WE SHARE. Please donate using the Ministry of Social Concerns (MoSC) Advent Giving Program tab on WE SHARE.
All donations are due by November 28th in order to meet distribution deadlines to the families. As always, we are very grateful for the generosity of our parishioners at Christmas and throughout the year. Thanks in advance for your support.
