Purgatory: Refined by Fire"

William Albrecht, St Paul Center

April 8 - 29, 2026

This course with William Albrecht explores the Catholic doctrine of Purgatory, drawing from biblical texts, early church teachings, and the writings of key church fathers. Each episode delves into the theological, historical, and scriptural foundations of Purgatory, illustrating its relevance in the journey toward sanctification and ultimate union with God. By the end of the course, participants will gain a deep understanding of how Purgatory functions as a place of purification for the souls who die in God’s grace but still need cleansing before entering heaven.
