Cooks Needed for Red Mill Inn Residents
St. Jude's Social Concerns committee volunteers have been instrumental in feeding families without homes, over 50 adults and 20 children, living at the Red Mill Inn on Route 1. The residents are being sponsored by Toni Short, director of Lighthouse for Broken Wings. On Tuesday and Thursday nights, around 4:15pm, volunteers drop off a tray of cooked meat or starch or vegetables to Red Mill Inn for the residents to enjoy. More cooks are needed! You can do all of the cooking yourself, or split the cooking tasks among a group of friends or neighbors, for the dates you wish to supply all or part of the meal.
